Clare Veren

Originally from Melbourne, Iowa, Miss Clare began her dance journey at the age of three at The Dance Konnection, training under Miss Kimi and many other inspiring instructors. Over the years, she honed her skills in various styles and became a dedicated member of DK’s competition team, DKStarz, earning numerous regional and national awards. During her time at the studio, she also had the privilege of learning from renowned teachers around the world through master classes and conventions—experiences that helped shape her as both a dancer and an artist.

Her passion for dance led her to continue performing and competing in college, where she spent four years on the nationally ranked Simpson College Dance Team in Indianola, Iowa. She proudly served as team captain for three seasons, choreographed numerous routines, and provided private lessons to young dancers in the community. She trained in a variety of styles, with a strong foundation in jazz, pom, and her personal favorite—hip hop. While earning her degree in sports communication and marketing, she also pursued studies in coaching and remained actively involved in campus organizations.

Since graduating, Miss Clare has continued to share her love and knowledge of dance by choreographing high school state routines and solos, as well as serving as a judge for team tryouts across Iowa. She is beyond excited to return to DK—this time as a teacher—and is committed to helping the next generation of dancers grow, express themselves, and fall in love with dance just like she did.
