Valerie moved to Marshalltown in 2009 and is an 8th grade teacher at Miller Middle School. She has been a part of TDK as a mom since her daughter, Addison, started dance class in 2017. Valerie started tumbling when she was three at Judy's Dance Studio in Galesburg, IL and continued as a competitive tumbler until she was 18. Tumbling and Acro were a huge part of her life growing up and she is excited to be teaching at The Dance Konnection!
